In an effort to serve our region with all of its material needs, J. F. Allen Company receives and stores de-icing salt during the winter months. The salt is delivered by train to our rail terminal at our Aggregates Quarry location in Elkins, WV. There, it is stored for the West Virginia Department of Highways and delivered to over twelve counties to improve winter highway safety.The de-icing salt is available to remaining customers subject to availability.
