J.F. Allen Company has the capabilities to install waterlines, sewer lines, storm water pipes, fuse pipe, perform horizontal boring, and to update or replace old utilities. Here are a few general pictures highlighting our capabilities.
J.F. Allen Company is selected and completes system improvements on the snow making system at Canaan Valley Ski Resort. The project consisted of installing over seven (7) miles of steel pipe (10”, 8”, 6”, 4” and 2”), eight (8) precast concrete valve vaults, two (2) miles of electrical and communication wiring, twenty (20) snow gun pedestals, the renovation of a booster pump house, five (5) new portable snow guns, forty-five (45) low air tower snow guns and posts, and the upgrade of twenty-four (24) snow guns.
J.F. Allen Company completes the South Dents Run Sanitary Sewer Extension (Phase II). Located in Monongalia County, the project consisted of 8” and 6” PVC Sanitary sewer line, eleven (11) concrete manholes, 16” steel casings, 4” sanitary sewer lateral piping, and other necessary accessories and connections to existing infrastructure to make the project complete. Additionally, the project included paving, parking lot repair and stream bank slope protection.
J.F. Allen Company crews completed a sewer line extension for the new West Virginia Department of Highways District 7 Headquarters. The project consisted of 8000 feet of line including a sewer pump station, 2″ force main, a directional river crossing, etc.
J.F. Allen Company installs over 12 miles of waterlines for the Adrian Public Service District(Contract #2). The project consisted of diameters of 8″, 6″, 4″ and 2″ line. In addition, there were 72 meter settings, a 50 gallon per minute booster station, two pressure reducing stations, steel casings, water valves, fire hydrants and other related infrastructure necessary to construct a complete functional water distribution system.
J.F. Allen Company utility crews are currently progressing on a project in Rowlesburg located in Preston County, West Virginia. The project consists of 14 miles of 6″ and 2″ waterline, including stream crossings, directional borings, a pump station, etc.
